	05 Dec 07	Common Thread Films has gained funding for their next film, A Holy Union (working title), from the ACT government. The film is about a Pastor and will be shot in 2008.
	07 Oct 07	Common Thread Films latest short is Groceries with Canberran actor Dallas Bland. The film is based on actual events and may be Common Thread's most personal work to date. The film is currently in post-production.
	07 Oct 07	Next Try Wins has been short listed for the SHORT SOUP 2008 screening. Next try wins has received 'Best Australian film under 10 minutes' at the Forster Film Festival Spread the Grief Around has been short listed for the 'Electric shorts' 2008 screening. Next try Wins has received 'Best film' in the Canberra division of the U Film Festival (national competition held to be held at Dendy Canberra in late October) Spread The Grief Around has been short listed for the Canberra film festival in the 'Canberra region' and 'Youth' divisions.
